Did you notice that we continually mention ‘party’? So what would a party be without some memorable party music action? And so, get ready! But first we would like to provide you with a few amazing facts about our next featured act. Did you know that the late great British radio Dj, John Peel once hosted a documentary about them?

In fact, did you know that grunge god, Kurt Cobain actually demanded that they tour and grace the same stages as Nirvana in their heyday! Actually, they have graced some of the biggest festival stages in the world and have actually been one of Australia’s biggest musical exports. With this year’s theme being a party in the park, we’ve taken a little twist and a slight turn and recruited one of this country’s most successful exports, an Australian act recognized as the world’s most triumphant tribute bands.

Since forming in 1988 in Melbourne this band has allowed the fans of Sweden’s ABBA, one of the world’s biggest pop groups in music history, to live the dream! Björn Again have performed over 4,000 concerts in over 60 countries worldwide and are the only ABBA tribute devotees to be endorsed by the real Benny and Björn of ABBA.

They’ve sold out their own shows at Wembley Arena, London, SECC Glasgow, The Point Dublin (all with 10,000 capacities) and three Royal Albert Halls in London. Their fan base includes a who’s who of world celebrity ‘A’ lists including U2, Metallica, Robert Plant, Tom Jones, Rowan Atkinson, Fergie and Prince Andrew and the aforementioned Kurt Cobain.

So we invite you to don your best whites and start practicing your hot ABBA moves in the lead up to what is sure to be a fun filled highlight at HOMEBAKE when Björn Again bring a fabulous element of excitement to the party in the park at this year’s HOMEBAKE Festival.
