GOTYE We can proudly state we coerced this amazing discovery to the live stages - and now we're head over heals to have them back. GOTYE's 2006 independent release, Like Drawing Blood was a multi-layered sonic extravaganza that left critics and fans enthralled.

Now, Wally De Backer, the home production maestro behind Gotye's far-flung musical meanderings has created another masterpiece, Mixed Blood, an album of sonic reinvention's of tracks from both Like Drawing Blood and his acclaimed debut Boardface performed by an array of friends and superstars.

A natural step from albums that were themselves cobbled together from myriad samples, snippets of live instruments and diverse vocal and production ideas, this collection of reworkings are "the tracks that might have been", had the initial process been one of collaboration rather than isolation.

After songs like Learnalilgivinanlovin and Hearts A Mess enjoyed widespread support from community radio, Triple J (both tunes landed in the Hottest 100) and subsequently ABC Radio and Nova FM, it is simply genuine love for the music that has seen this unique artist continue to entice a huge fan base with his extraordinary eclectic and original style.
